Build your credit to get car finance

You can also establish a credit history by having someone add you as a joint account holder on their credit card account. Just make sure that it’s someone that you really trust. Remember if your a joint account holder and they don’t make the payments, it will go against your credit score to.

The best possible way to build your credit history is to get credit. Some lenders will give you a small personal loan of just a few hundred dollars. You might need a co-signer to get the loan, but once you make all your payments and pay the balance off in full, you’ll be able to get the next one all by yourself.
